This VRS training in the skills laboratory goes beyond the training of standardized skills and addresses the complexity of care and emotional aspects of communication and interaction. It also provides students’ opportunities to develop critical thinking skills in a safe learning environment, with reflection and acquisition of new understandings and knowledge in the debriefing phase.
Here, we will introduce the project and describe complex scenarios for VRS and the suite of modules, which represent realistic nursing practice. We will also discuss the projects collaboration across four countries – Finland, Germany, Denmark and Ireland.
