Sometimes students’ high expectations of their academic performance, regardless of their personal circumstances, can lead to undue stress, anxiety and a rigid focus on achievement as a measure of self-worth and self-esteem. In this video, two NUIG students, Chloé and Ailbhe, share their experiences of overcoming the crippling effects of perfectionism and embracing a more balanced perspective on student life, personal relationships and general wellbeing.
