It is not unusual for adolescents and young adults to experience unexpected mood change or depression at some time and it can often resolve itself. When symptoms persist however, daily life can feel meaningless, impossible or unreal. These feelings can be compounded by the fear of being unlovable, ‘unfixable’ or a burden on others. In this video, three NUIG students, Shane, Donna and Clara share their experiences of overcoming the isolating effects of depression by reaching out for support.
