Creating, Reusing, and Remixing Open Educational Resources with H5P - Enhancing Digital Teaching and Learning project team
H5P is tool for creating interactive, engaging digital learning resources. H5P has a wide adoption in the open education community, and in this session, we explored using H5P in the Virtual Learning Environment as we create, reuse, and remix content. Consisting of a wide variety of content types, H5P facilitates a more engaging digital learning experience for students. H5P is soon to release its own OER Hub, which will help to further foster open practice and promote the use of interactive OER within our learning communities.
The facilitators
Kate Molloy (NUI Galway), Morag Munro (Maynooth University), and Suzanne Stone (Dublin City University) are members of the IUA Enhancing Digital Teaching and Learning project team. The project is aimed at enhancing the digital attributes and educational experiences of Irish university students through enabling the mainstreamed and integrated use of digital technologies across the teaching and learning process. The project aims to mainstream digital in teaching and learning activities in Irish Universities, by addressing the professional development of all who teach or support teaching and learning. In the context of Covid-19, the project has re-focused to support a move to a more blended approach to teaching and learning in the academic year 2020/21, while adhering to the four project pillars.
